Many investors want to buy here in the Orlando market, and we are often asked about where they should focus their real estate investing. I always recommend three areas. When you’re looking for the best place to invest in real estate, these areas are good choices for some important reasons. They have newer homes, they are in solid residential areas, there are plenty of amenities, and large employers are nearby, who frequently contact us for tenant placements.

Best Places For Real Estate Investments in Orlando, Florida

Investing in Oviedo

This community is near the University of Central Florida (UCF), on the east side of town. There are several large employers in the area, which makes it economically stable and desirable for tenants. In addition to UCF, there are Siemens and NES Global. These companies know we provide property management in Orlando, and they reach out to us when they have employees transferring to town from out of state or out of the country. We place them in good rental properties in and around Oviedo. Learn more about investing in a Oviedo rental property here.

Investing in Lake Nona

Lake Nona is near the airport. It’s also called Medical City because so many hospitals and medical centers have been built here over the last few years. It’s become quite a corridor for the medical technology industry. It also attracts people who are commuting to their work in Orlando. There are two neighborhoods; Lake Nona south, which has higher priced homes that bring in high rental values, and then the surrounding Lake Nona areas, which has slightly more affordable properties. Both areas have excellent rental potential. Learn more about investing in a Lake Nona rental property here.

Investing in Winter Park

Winter Park and Baldwin Park are suburbs north of the Orlando city center. It’s a traditional rental area that has older and more established neighborhoods. There are a number of shops, sidewalks, and cafes. It’s an old world kind of living that a lot of tenants prefer. Learn more about investing in a Winter Park rental property here.
